Fibre Hip Bath Tub For Naturopathy Treatment
Oceanic Healthcare Hip Bath Tub is specially designed for use in holistic or whole body health care in Home or Naturopathy Treatments. Its anthropometrically contoured shape enables a comfortable posture and free movement of the arms for massage while having a hip-bath. The parabolic shape with a raised wall at one end and hand-rests at both sides permit a relaxed reclining posture.
Using the Bath Tub:
Fill the tub with moderately cold water to the level of your navel when you are seated in the tub. Rest your feet on a low stool placed near the tub and recline comfortably on the raised wall of the tub. Gently rub with a wet rough towel on your abdomen in a circular motion around your navel without applying much pressure. The upper part of your body as well as the feet should be thoroughly dry and should not get wet during and after the bath. In the beginning, the duration of stay in the bath can be for a minute or two and gradually increased to 10 or 20 minutes as advised by your physician.
After the hip bath, wipe your body dry, dress quickly and go for a walk or do some light exercise to bring back the warmth to the body. In case you are too weak to engage yourself in any such activity, you should get into bed and wrap yourself in a blanket and rest for about half an hour.
A full bath is advised only a couple of hours before or after a hip bath. The hip bath should be taken two hours before or after meals.
Benefits:
Hip bath is considered a routine aid for almost all diseases, particularly for hernia, prostatitis, indigestion, constipation, piles, spermatorrhoea, inflammation of the pelvic region, obesity, sub involution of the uterus, urinary infection, leucorrhoea, pain in the pelvic organs, painful urination, spondylosis, etc.
Precaution:
Discontinue in case of inflammation, painful contraction of bladder and rectum, lower-back pain during menstrual period, diarrhea, dysentery or high blood pressure and consult a physician.
